Indispensable tool for workpieces with back counterboring that are produced on turning lathes without subspindle in order to part off nearly free of burrs. Our System HSM is available in carbide as well as in HSS. Different angles, e.g. 60°-, 90°-, 120°-chamfer, are possible as grooves, no matter if you are using machines with right hand or left hand motion.

Requirements:
The relieving tool and the parting off tool need to be exactly aligned in order to part off free of burrs.

 

Just like cylindrical form tools, the System HSM is regrindable on the cutting face almost without limits.
